ICMAtv is online at www.icmatv.com

At the Detroit Brownfields 2008 conference, ICMA debuted ICMAtv, which featured videos, interviews, and case study resources on leadership, sustainability, and how communities and local governments are reusing and redeveloping brownfields sites.  During the conference display screens are stationed around the conference, in the exhibit hall, and at attendee hotel rooms.  After the conference the videos are displayed on www.icmatv.com.

Bridging the Gap

Innovative Funding Workshop

Remediation and development of Brownfield sites can be expensive; more and more federal, state and local government funding falls short of what is needed. The Innovative Funding Workshop at Brownfields 2008 explored the options available in the non-profit sector. ICMA TV was there to find out why this approach can benefit non-profits, local government and the for-profit sectors.

Richards-Gebaur - From Airfields to Brownfields

Kansas City, MO

This film highlights dramatic developments at Kansas City, Missouri's latest large-scale brownfield project, the former Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base, a 1,400 acre former defense site that is being cleaned up and transformed into a state-of-the-art transportation logistics hub, with surface and subsurface industrial park facilities.
