Just as a brownfield site can be turned into an entirely new use, this year's national conference promises a suite of educational opportunities in tried and true as well as emerging areas. But we need your help to make it happen. With all the talk about the green economy, our goal is to craft a portfolio of sessions covering topics related to green collar jobs creation, alternative and renewable energy reuses, green remediation, sustainability approaches, and green building strategies.
Similarly, it's a whole new world out there for the development community. Submit your ideas and tell us about your experiences. We really want high quality sessions that discuss investment strategies, financial risk management, redevelopment approaches, and innovative financing ideas for getting deals done, even in this tough market. A key purpose of the conference is to educate practitioners and maybe even to create some new concepts for consideration.
In each of these areas, the high quality program doesn't happen without your ideas. So send them in before May 1st at www.brownfields2009.org.
