The 2010 Phoenix Award winners for excellence in brownfield redevelopment will be will be honored at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 5th from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in room 114 of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The Phoenix Award winners represent outstanding revitalization projects from each of the 10 U.S. EPA regions as well as projects having a special community impact. The winning projects were selected by a panel of environmental professionals and business and government leaders based on a set of five criteria: magnitude of the project, innovative techniques, solutions to regulatory/social issues, and impact upon the community.
Newly appointed Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Michael Krancer and Thomas Murphy, Senior Fellow, Urban Land Institute, will co-host the ceremony.

- Region 9: Marina Gateway Hotel & Commercial Project (National City, California)
- Region 10: Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park Redevelopment Project (Troutdale, Oregon)
- Community Impact Winner: Piquette Square for Veterans (Detroit, Michigan)
