Brownfields 2011 Launches the Economic Redevelopment Forum

Brownfields 2011 will feature a redesigned Brownfield Transaction Forum that will focus on state and municipal financial incentives for the economic redevelopment of brownfields.

Monday April 4th, 2011 11:30am - 4:30pm

Formerly known as the Transaction Forum, (a staple of the Brownfields Conference since 2004), this event traditionally focused on providing property owners, redevelopment agencies, and communities an opportunity to market their contaminated properties directly to the real estate development industry. However, Brownfields 2011 will take place amid one of the most challenging economies and difficult environments for commercial and residential development in recent times. With that in mind, the Forum will also focus on the new importance of government financial incentives geared to spur economic development and get projects funded when traditional loans and sources of equity are hard to find.

In order to spark interest and inform participants of the new features of the Economic Redevelopment Forum, Brownfields 2011 has put together several interactive and informative webpages. Click on the links below to discover the newly designed Economic Redevelopment Forum.
