Engineers (PDH)

All sessions at Brownfields 2013 are eligible for professional development hours (PDH) for professional engineers. Engineers need to sign the Engineering Sign-in Sheet at the beginning of each session they attend.  Sign in sheets will be available in the back of all session rooms.  At the start of the conference, all professional engineers should visit the continuing education desk in the conference registration area to obtain a certificate of attendance to keep track of the educational sessions they attend.

Planners (CM)

The American Planning Association (APA) has approved all 103 Brownfields 2013 educational sessions for CM credits. The APA has additionally approved a total of 11 hours of CM Law Credits. The only educational sessions that are excluded from receiving CM credits are special sessions such as Films, and the Phoenix Awards. Planners must sign-in at the back of each session room and log their hours following the conference.

Attorneys (CLE)

Brownfields 2013 has a track of educational sessions dedicated to law and liability facing the brownfield industry. Please click on your state to view which sessions are officially approved for CLE credits. Attendees wanting CLE credits should pick up a Uniform Certificate of Attendance and Sign-in at the CEU Desk.

Public Health (CPH)

The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) has approved 12 educational sessions and four affiliate meetings for Certified Public Health (CPH) credit hours. The CPH designation demonstrates that an individual graduate from a CEPH-accredited school or  program of public health has mastered foundational competencies in public health. Attendees must sign-in at CEU Desk in order to receive CPH credit.

EPA Remediation Project Managers

EPA Remedial Project Managers can receive contract hours by attending the Brownfields Conference. ALL educational sessions have been approved by the EPA for contract hours. EPA RPM attendees wanting credit should pick up a RPM Certificate of Attendance at the CEU Desk.

A general Certificate of Attendance will be available at the continuing education desk in the registration area for those professionals who wish to pursue continuing education credits, but whose organizations or certifying bodies have not officially sanctioned continuing education credits at Brownfields 2013.
