The Chase Community Development Competition gives a team of students an opportunity to partner with a New Orleans nonprofit organization to develop a real estate project that is feasible, sustainable, and helps to build and strengthen the local community. The complete financial real estate development proposal for a community-based project will consist of a financial analysis, architectural renderings and other relevant components. This year the final presentations and award ceremony will take place at Brownfields 2009. A panel of judges will select the winning teams. The selection process involves a review of the project abstract, written proposal, and an oral presentation if selected as a finalist. Chase will award pre-development grants to the nonprofit partner for the first, second and third place winners.
