We have a full slate of thought-provoking films and documentaries with a variety of environmental themes lined up for this year's Brownfields Film Series. As an added bonus, two filmmakers will join us to lead discussions on their films.
We’re pleased to feature a new documentary, “Home: The American Dream, The American Pastime & Urban Renewal in York, Pennsylvania.” Produced and directed by Brian Plow with Towson University, the documentary tells the story of an American urban space and its complex transformation as well as one woman’s experience in leaving her home of 50 years. Professor Plow will join us for a question and answer session after the film.
Lee Burnett will introduce a double feature focused on American rivers and waterways. Mr. Burnett recently produced his first short film, "Learning to Love the Mousam," about cleanup efforts along the Mousam River in Maine. Mr. Burnett will also lead a discussion after the films have shown.
