Growing Together: Consensus Building, Smart Growth and Community Change

The New England Environmental Finance Center (EFC) recently announced the completion of a Companion Guide to their award-winning DVD, Growing Together: Consensus Building, Smart Growth and Community Change. The guide, prepared by Jack Kartez, EFC's Associate Director, provides in-depth discussion of the whys and wherefores of consensus building for local land use purposes.

This new publication is a companion to the documentary film which tells stories of how communities have constructively addressed difficult questions of smart growth and community revitalization where the stakes are about what people value most in their living environment .
